In short artificial nails can leave your nails thin brittle and parched. They are made from materials intended to withstand a lot of stress and wear. So many struggle with brittle nails that wont grow or just love the durability and look of artificial nails.

My nails in my opinion are now damaged although to some people are in fine condition. Still some people love the look of artificial nails. Acrylic nails are designed to be very durable.

Acrylic doesnt ruin your nails a poor nail tech does. As long as you follow the correct aftercare and have them removed currectly you will have no problems. Fortunately you dont have to give up your acrylics.
