When it stops being so sore you can remove the false nail but I would have the nail technician do it. It looked as good as new. Another thought for you - many unscrupulous salons use a liquid called MMA to create the nails.
A similar thing happened to me on my little finger. Taking something like nail clippers wont work as acrylic can be a bit thicker than clippers can get over. If your natural nail isnt hurting too badly now it is okay to take the acrylic off.
